The 7 Misused form of SMSing.

Came across an article like ages ago and forgotten about it. It’s about texting someone (sms) using your phone. The 7 not to do action while texting someone. I have summarized it into a list of 7 pointers. It’s actually based on dating but it can also be implemented on friends too. Below the list is the link of the actual article itself.

1. Don’t joke using SMS.

It maybe provocative as sometimes it is difficult to convey the tone of what you write into the SMS. Words are often misinterpreted. So refrain!

2. Do not use SMS to cancel a date.

I personally EXTREMELY DISLIKE people to cancel a date USING SMS. If you have something crop up and unable to go for the date you promised CALL the person instead of SMS him / her. It is awfully insincere and be a grown up and CALL the person!

3. Don't Ask Someone Out via SMS.

It is once again insincere; call them up if you’re asking him/her out.

4. Avoid the 'Morning After' Text.

This is more towards dating, avoiding SMSing the other party straight the next morning after a date last night. Wait for a few hours like in the afternoon then go for it. You will make yourself look over-anxious.

5. Keep the SMSing Minimum.

Smsing is great but keep it to a minimum. Unless the other party can’t speak over the phone though various reasons. Listening to voices is way better than looking at boring texts.

6. You May Not Get an Answer.

If you SMS someone don’t go harboring so much great hopes of having the other party reply. Because SMSing is so impersonal the other party may be busy etc. So don’t make SMSing your main communication tool.

7. You Maybe Left Wondering and Lost.

People tend to forget things including replying back your SMS. Your message get buried and go unanswered. So pick up the phone and call!

I was thinking that I should let some people know some stuff. So here I am stating the "some stuff". This entry may some sort be a little self-centered as everything is ME, Myself and I. Anyway here goes:

Well I guess that’s all for the "some stuffs" for now. Got to explain some things, although it may not be necessary but here goes. It’s about the dislike number 2 and 3.

If I want to tell stuff, I will willingly. So don’t probe and don’t ask people around me for the answer either. I may not show how displeased I am doesn’t mean I’m not and I know you asked. There are various reasons why I don’t wish to share. Secondly please stop mentioning her; it may seem nothing to you but to me it’s sensitive. I don’t flare up at the spot because I know you’re ignorant of many issues and to also to save everyone from the awkwardly situation if I pursued.

Same applies to many others. You all should know who you are. I’m not blaming anybody nor seeking a way to vent out those steams I’ve been holding on inside me. I’m just hoping you people to at least understand if you really treat me as a good friend of yours.

Today and What?

Today was like so totally drenched thanks to Little Bee for wanting to save the 50cents <.<. I’m going to fall sick sooner or later… it’s like suddenly raining then at a blink of an eye its bright sunny again. Yesterday was like 38.C and today was like 37.C!

In additional of the chaotic weather changes, school was even worst, all thanks to some crazy lady checking here and there. For the past 1 year and 1 month, I could use my fingers to count how many times I wore a proper uniform to school. Then last week came this crazy old hag, instead of checking the hair which she didn’t… she checked the clothes. That’s like.... BLAST!

Now I have to change to the freaking making me itchy uniforms that I detest so much that made me wonder why I didn’t accept RP enrollment. If I did then I won’t be sitting in a stuffy hot classroom which is none ventilated by any case, wearing a uniform that makes my body perspire as if it was raining inside.

Other than that annoying old hag, there sometimes at least in my life to rejoice about. I brought a Playstation 3 recently like 7 days ago. Cost me a total of $844 and it weights 6kg. It is an extremely smart system and I simply adore the features and the appearance of the console. It can be access though the internet which is the biggest plus. Other than that go read up more if you’re interested.



Back to today, went for Botak Jones near Clementi MRT. I must really say, I’m not really a huge fan of western food. Although it tasted pretty good at first but slowly I will get bored of the taste. I think it’s just me. Everyone seems to be enjoying it, its not that I don’t like it. I’m just OK with it.



The appearance of the meal makes one drools… My choice was Fish & Chip. Which is the first photo. As for the rest... all I can say is GREAT appearance! LOL.

Not so Small Update.

As someone slightly I must say requested to me that she misses my updates on my blog. So I shall give a small update. I’m kind of impressed by the “hits” my blog statistics is showing. It has already surpassed and topped every other month by hits count and it’s only the 16th for this month! Not really expecting much from my blog. So I was kind of impressed.

Firstly my mood, to be exact it’s my mental state. All thanks to someone who woke me up at 10.30am ar huh all for the word “TIRED”. Skipping aside the song, I just want to put up some notices about Playstation 3.

Anyone who have a good offer on Playstation 3 please let me know. Thanks! I went on yesterday to read more about Playstation 3 and its $599 for 40 GB HDD drive and $799 for 60 GB HDD Drive. For more differences please go wikipedia to check it out.

I have long decided $799 was the choice due to the technical specs. Actually I don’t have to wait till like 12 June for one. The retail package is already included in Singapore. ( Source from official Sony website ). So I may buy one suddenly out of the blue but first got to find a good offer first.

On the side note, There no Government!! WEE! LOL Nonetheless it’s the same. <.<

Oh Man...

I’m like so promising myself not to call anybody on my phone to chat over casual issues. My bill came yesterday and it’s freaking $114! That is like so OUCH to me. I always thought I have free 200 minutes outgoing call but actually it’s like only 100 minute. Blast my phone company for deceiving me into what additional of another 100 minute free outgoing.

I must admit and agree with my dad that owning a line of your own is not cheap and with that extensive amount of phone bill it just makes one goes geez... I finally understand the immense stress that comes crushing down on to some people that received bills of every sort for every month.

Okay anyway my birthday is like around 65 days away from now. I have been asking everyone what they will buy for me as for my birthday present. It’s kinda too straightforward and I want to say this:

"What I ask for my birthday present is merely just starting a topic to chat about, not that I really want a birthday present. (Only Applies to some people) LOL".

PS3 PS3!

Accidentally deleted the previous post bleh! I went on earlier to research on Playstation 3. Woot and found out that on June 12th Playstation 3 will be having a retail package with more stuff in it. June 12!! That is like so 1 month and 9 days away. $799 was the price and its freaking 40GB or 60GB I think… MGS4 is also releasing on June 12th, as my bro stated that he would only buy PS3 when MGS4 come out so I have got to subdue my craving of the Playstation 3 till then…

So like it’s 3rd May and I recall it’s someone birthday ar huh.
